Jennifer Logue for San Benito County Superintendent of Schools

Dedicated to Student Success. Committed to San Benito County.
Jennifer Logue and her family.

My name is Jennifer Logue, and I am proud to run for San Benito County Superintendent of Schools. I’ve called Hollister my home for 33 years. Although I grew up in New Mexico, when I arrived here in 1992, I quickly felt the same warmth and sense of community I knew as a child. This is where I built my life, career, and family.

Education has always been part of who I am. My father, mother, and grandfather passed on a love of learning and curiosity. Watching my dad volunteer in local schools and spark students’ interest in science inspired me to become a teacher. After earning my chemistry degree and teaching credential, I was recruited to Hollister High School, where I taught science and math and coached track and cross country. That’s also where I met my husband. We raised four daughters here, all of whom attended local public schools.

Over the years, I’ve served our schools in many roles: teacher, coach, new teacher support specialist, and assistant principal. In 2014, I joined the County Office of Education as Director of Curriculum and Instruction, working with all 28 schools in the county. I later became Assistant Superintendent and now serve as Deputy Superintendent. In this role, I helped create the county’s first accredited Teacher Induction Program and worked with partners to secure over $7.5 million in grants for attendance, intervention, and student mental health supports. In every position, my focus has been the same—putting students first.

My commitment to this community also extends beyond my job. I’ve coached youth sports, supported church youth programs, and participated in community events. I currently serve as a CASA Board Director, President of Delta Kappa Gamma’s Zeta Epsilon chapter supporting women educators, and Vice-President of Legislative Action for our local school administrators’ association.

With decades of experience in San Benito County schools, I am prepared to serve as your County Superintendent of Schools. I respectfully ask for your support and the opportunity to continue working for the success of all students.

As your next County Superintendent of Schools, I am dedicated to partnering with families, the community, and school districts in San Benito County to prepare our students for success in college, careers, and life. Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and I'm committed to making that a reality through:
